The designation “CIO” Certified Instructor Online is the first and only international progressive certification program for online faculty. The CIO program philosophy is based on the proven increase in learning outcomes for online student learners and increasing the effectiveness of online faculty. The approach to the CIO program is based on three levels of certification:

1. CIO – A (Associate Level)

2. CIO – M (Master Level)

3. CIO – P (Professional Level)
